Schedule: 9/80 - Employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off
Responsibilities- Oversee the organization’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; manage, improve, and execute EHS policies, procedures, and programs across Anaheim and Gardena sites.
- Implement safety training, reporting, and ensure the overall health and safety of employees.
- Support EH&S performance, including injury reduction, environmental sustainability initiatives, and meeting regulatory and company requirements.
- Conduct workplace surveys, safety audits, risk assessments, and advise management on corrective actions; track resolutions to closure.
- Drive continuous improvement of EH&S programs across processes, systems, and products (e.g., Ergonomics, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Hazard and Risk Assessments, Hazardous Waste, Air Quality, Storm Water).
- Support incident investigations and data/trend analysis to determine root causes; prepare and maintain necessary documentation and ensure reporting requirements are met promptly.
- Define and disseminate ownership responsibilities for regulatory, corporate, and internal obligations; develop written programs and training to communicate these responsibilities; audit practices for adherence and enforcement.
- Brief site operations and leadership teams on programs, trends, and action plans.
- Stay current with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Establish and maintain contacts with city, county, state, and federal regulatory agencies.

Harris requirements (permits, licenses, training, certifications, inspections, audits, etc.). - Support standardization of EHS processes across the enterprise.
- Perform related duties or special projects as directed; flexible to off-site or weekend activities as needed.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; graduate degree with at least 7 years of related experience; in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, IBC, and other EHS regulations.
- Practical understanding of ISO 14064-1 and greenhouse gas emissions management.
- Experience in management and leading direct reports and projects across multiple sites.
- Leadership experience to explain and influence changes to improve policies, practices, or approaches.
- Strong technical understanding of environmental and occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
- Experience developing, training, and implementing EHS programs and training.
- Ability to work independently under general, consultative direction and manage programs.
- Experience managing a budget with vendors and consultants for EHS compliance.
- Experience with California State and regional EHS regulations.
- Subject matter expertise in OSHA regulations, NFPA electrical safety, air quality, storm water, DTSC hazardous waste, hazardous communication/chemical safety, and emergency response.
- Involvement in high-performance programs: VPP, ISO 45001, 14001.
- Strong root cause analysis skills.
