Job DescriptionThe Systems Engineer will be responsible for the Integration & Testing (I&T) of maritime programs. This role involves formal verification, formal validation, and system integration. Additional duties include supporting architectural drawings, design specifications, implementation instructions, test procedures, and test reports.
Responsibilities- Conduct integration and testing of maritime programs.
- Perform formal verification and validation processes.
- Support the creation of architectural drawings and design specifications.
- Develop implementation instructions and test procedures.
- Generate comprehensive test reports.
- Experience in integration testing and test procedure development.
- Proficiency in test reporting and use of DOORS software.
- Strong focus on I&T processes.
- Knowledge of MBSE (Model‑Based Systems Engineering) and SysML.
- Experience in the defense industry.
- Capability in software validation and verification.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar field.
- 4‑8 years of related experience.
- Experience with system integration and testing.
- Ability to obtain a US Clearance.
- Understanding of MBSE tools, including Cameo/Magicdraw, is preferred.
This role is part of a recently created team of 14 Systems Engineers, where individuals thrive in high‑pressure and safety‑critical environments. The project supports mission‑critical products that need to be 100% reliable to ensure the safety of military personnel. The product involves medium power, 1000‑volt systems.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Anaheim, CA.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour.
