• Anaheim, CA, United States Basic Qualifications Required
- ABET accredited BA/BS Electrical Engineering degree with an emphasis on Electrical Power systems design and operation.
- Professional Engineering License (PE) in the State of California.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in engineering design and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in the use of email, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of NEC, NESC, Title 24, OSHA and etc.
- Excellent oral, written, listening and communication skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing complex issues to non-technical peers and to management.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Personal integrity and strong customer focus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate and work with craft labor and contractors to facilitate system repairs and equipment maintenance.
- MA/MS Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on power systems design and operation.
- Experience incorporating electrical distribution systems configuration and data into a Geographic Information System (ArcGIS).
- Experience using computer-based electrical engineering and design tools including SKM Power Tools and Energy Pro.
- Experience with a campus environment electrical distribution system including chiller plants, boiler plants, compressed air production, pumps, power management systems, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, meters, environmental sustainability, variable speed drive systems, and energy efficiency programs and projects.
- Knowledge of SKM software and experience performing power systems analysis.
