Accounts Payable & Expense Reimbursement Auditor
Our hospitality client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Expense Reimbursement Auditor to support full‑cycle AP operations in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate invoice processing, expense compliance, and timely vendor and employee payments.
Responsibilities- Manage full‑cycle accounts payable, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment processing
- Conduct detailed audits of employee expense reports to ensure accuracy, policy compliance, and proper documentation
- Review high volumes of invoices and expense reimbursements with strong attention to detail
- Resolve invoice and expense discrepancies through collaboration with internal departments and vendors
- Perform reconciliations and assist with month‑end close activities related to AP and expenses
- Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls, and hospitality expense guidelines
- Support audit requests and documentation as needed
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in AP and expense workflows
- 3+ years of experience in full‑cycle accounts payable in a high‑volume environment
- Experience auditing employee expense reports and reimbursement policies
- Hospitality, food & beverage, or multi‑location experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
