In this role, you will own the daily invoice flow, supervise one AP team member, and partner closely with accounting leadership to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and a smooth month‑end close. You’ll be hands‑on in the work while helping elevate processes in a fast‑moving, team‑first environment. Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 / Year, DOE
Accounts Payable Supervisor Responsibilities- Supervise and support the AP processor, providing training, guidance, and feedback
- Oversee daily high‑volume invoice processing, including matching, coding, and approvals
- Review and approve vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms
- Reconcile AP accounts and monitor aging reports to resolve discrepancies
- Manage vendor relationships and respond to invoice and payment inquiries
- Assist with sales and use tax reporting and compliance
- Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including accruals and reporting
- Pull and prepare accounting reports as needed for leadership
- Maintain and improve AP processes and internal controls
- Support audits by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
Collaborate closely with accounting leadership and cross‑functional teams
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience
- 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
- Proven experience in high‑volume invoice processing environments
- Strong Excel skills required; pivot tables a plus
- Construction or manufacturing industry experience
- Comfortable learning non‑standard ERP/accounting systems
- Team‑oriented mindset
- Reliable, steady work history with a desire for long‑term tenure
