Tax Professional - Franchise Location

Join H&R Block as an experienced Tax Professional in a seasonal role at our franchise location. You will build strong client relationships and provide expert tax services to a diverse clientele.

• Conduct client tax interviews in person and virtually using video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate individual, trust, and partnership tax returns.
• Provide IRS support and offer additional products and services to grow business and retain clients.
• Deliver tax planning, audit support, and tax notice services as required.
• Mentor and support teammates in a fast‑paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience (preferred).
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher (minimum requirement).
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.

$19.00 - $25.00 / hr.
