Job Title:
Junior Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $25–$30 per hour (DOE)

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant for our client on a temp-to-hire basis. This role offers a great opportunity to build your accounting career in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in full cycle accounts payable and a solid foundation in general accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle accounts payable, including coding and processing vendor invoices
• Prepare and record expense accruals
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including prepaids and fixed assets
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries
• Assist in the monthly close process
• Complete bank and account reconciliations
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables

Qualifications:

• AA/AS or BA/BS in Accounting preferred or working toward degree
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables required)
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
