CRNA - Per Diem - Island Health - Anacortes, WA – Somnia Inc.

Somnia is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a Per Diem role in an independent anesthesia practice within a Level 2 Stroke and Level 3 Trauma Center serving the community for over 60 years. The hospital handles approximately 6,000 cases annually, including Main OR (2,803), Endoscopy (2,756), and OB (438).

• $175 per hour.
• Malpractice coverage provided and paid by the company – W2 only.
• Malpractice limits: $1 million / $5 million.
• Termination notice: 90 days.
• Travel and lodging stipend available.

• Case mix:
  General, blocks, OB, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, podiatry, spines, GI, ENT, and pediatrics (no heads, hearts or vascular).
• Coverage across 3 ORs, 1 endoscopy room, and 3 labor rooms.
• Call schedule: average one night per week and one weekend per month; not required to stay in-house.
• Post‑call duties: pager duty until noon, covering OB and breaks if needed.
• Charting and software:
  Meditech Expanse – anesthesia charts on paper; medication management/digital pharmacy via Pyxis.

• Active state license.
• National Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) certification.
