Production Operator

Shifts

Candidates must be able to work both day and/or night shift

1st Shift: 6AM-6:30PM;
Pay: $13/hr. (Thursday to Tuesday)

2nd Shift: 6PM-6:30AM;
Pay: $14/hr. (Thursday to Tuesday)

Week off on Wednesday

Required to load, unload and monitor equipment used to handle fiber packages and equipment. The position involves lifting tasks, standing/walking continuously, and operating several machines.

• Faber Racks – Load, unload and monitor racks holding fiber packages (small spools).
  Lifting height: 0–9 ft @ 10–25 lbs.
  Overhead lifting required.
  Movements: lifting packages from cartons to racks; tying in fiber packages.
• Twisters – Load, unload and monitor machines used to twist fiber.
  Lifting height: 2–6 ft.
  Lifting weight: 15–90 lbs. (
  NO LIFT OVER 50 lbs – moving weight from machine to cart
  )
  Standing/walking continuously.
• Bobbin Winder – Load, unload and monitor machines used to wind twisted fiber.
  Lifting height: 4 ft.
  Lifting weight: 15–90 lbs. (
  NO LIFT OVER 50 lbs – moving weight from machine to cart
  )
  Standing continuously.
• Braider – Load, unload and monitor machines used to braid twisted fiber.
  Lifting height: 5–6 ft.
  Lifting weight: 15–80 lbs. (
  NO LIFT OVER 50 lbs – moving weight from machine to cart
  )
  Standing continuously.

Candidate must be willing to work all shifts. The shift will be communicated to the successful candidate at time of offer.

Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
