Helper‑Trainee‑Laborer (Night Shift or Day Shift)
Location: Welding Shop – Anacortes, WA
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM or Monday‑Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 – $21.00/hour
Are you looking to get your foot in the door in the welding and fabrication industry? T BAILEY is currently hiring a Helper‑Trainee‑Laborer to support our welding shop's night shift operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and wants to grow into a welding career.
What You'll Do:- Set up tools and materials before welding begins
- Clean up work areas after welding is completed
- Sweep shop floors and maintain a safe, organized workspace
- Grind weld splatter and use a wire wheel to clean up welds
- Support welders and fabricators with general labor tasks
- Beveling steel plates to prepare for welding
This position plays a key role in helping our team work efficiently and safely. If you're dependable, hardworking, and ready to learn, you could grow into a welding role through our in‑house training program.
What We're Looking For:- At least 1 year of experience in a fabrication or industrial setting is preferred
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work a consistent night shift schedule
- Must pass a fit‑for‑duty exam
- Competitive wages: $20.00–$21.00/hour +7.5% shift differential for night shift
