As an International Account Manager at VS Technology Europe, you will support growth across the EMEA region by combining business development, market research, and account management. You will work closely with the sales and technical teams to develop new opportunities and support existing customers.
Based in our Amsterdam Zuid-Oost office, this role offers hands‑on international sales experience within a highly technical and fast‑growing environment.

VS Technology is a Japanese lens manufacturer for the machine vision market. Colleagues and customers from all over the world require different approaches, therefore makes every day different. Our Amsterdam based office is working on the EMEA region and is a part of VST Group. English is our main language and our Head Quarter is based in Tokyo.
About you
You are an early-career professional (0–5 years of experience preferred) looking to build a long-term career in international sales and account management within a technical environment.
You may have gained initial experience through internships, commercial support roles, customer service, inside sales, or analytical positions. Previous sales experience is an advantage but not required — a strong commercial mindset, analytical thinking, and proactive attitude are essential.
You are:
Based in or willing to relocate to the Amsterdam area
Commercially minded and curious about international markets
Proactive, structured, and comfortable taking initiative
Confident communicating with customers across different countries
Comfortable working with data, CRM systems, and follow-up processes
Motivated to grow into a fully independent account manager role over time
You are eager to learn, willing to take responsibility step by step, and excited to contribute to a small but fast-growing European team within an international Japanese group.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Business Development & Market Expansion
Identify and pursue new opportunities across EMEA
Conduct market research and competitor analysis
Support sales campaigns and market expansion initiatives
Account Management
Maintain regular contact with existing customers
Support quotations, pricing discussions, and negotiations
Monitor pipeline and ensure timely follow-up
Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries
Coordinate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
Maintain accurate records and forecasts in Salesforce
Support preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports
Work closely with colleagues across Europe and international branches
Contribute to sales meetings and pipeline discussions
Represent the company at trade fairs and customer events when required
Requirements
Bachelor degree (commercial or equivalent)
0–5 years of relevant experience preferred
Based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam (or surrounding)
Fluent in English, additional European language is considered a bonus
Driver's License B
