We are looking for a new team member with a proven sales track record in the semiconductor industry (independent distribution) to join our team in Amsterdam. You will use your knowledge and experience of the industry to expand Smith’s customer portfolio, generating high‑revenue projects.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision‑makers.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in EMEA with your existing customer relationship.
Effectively communicate the benefits of Smith's value‑added services, such as cost savings, excess inventory management, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Provide guidance and support to junior account representatives.
Key Requirements
At least 6+ years of relevant experience within the semiconductor industry (independent distribution).
Fluent in English; fluency in another European language is an advantage.
Drive in a fast‑paced working environment and work well independently with little managerial involvement.
Service and results oriented.
Commitment to customer satisfaction.
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality and manage proprietary data.
Ability to overcome customer objections.
