We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager, primarily for Central Asia, responsible for identifying, creating, and executing business opportunities in the region. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in growing a new business venture.
After Nutreco ceased its activities in Russia, this region is now served and delivered from Europe. We have a strong focus on reestablishing our former business and developing a sustainable foundation for the future. Back office support activities are organised from Prague. Two local sales representatives are active in the region and will cooperate with you. We work with local partners (distributors) who actively sell our product portfolio and are keen to develop a more direct approach.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Set objectives, strategies, and tactics, including translation into action and business plans per account, jointly with the Export Director.
Business Growth: Grow and expand existing businesses by executing the sales plan for the assigned area in accordance with the set objectives and targets.
Negotiation Leadership: Lead negotiations and coordinate complex decision-making processes.
Customer Solutions: Identify and initiate innovative solutions to meet customer needs and maintain long-term relationships.
Client Relationship Management: Establish and build strong client relationships, ensuring continuity, ongoing representation, and profitability, reinforced by sales support/delivery programs.
Competitive Monitoring: Monitor competitive activity in each account and formulate and communicate appropriate response strategies.
Marketing Coordination: Organize customised customer seminars and coordinate targeted marketing activities.
Qualification and Experience
Educational Background: University education in Veterinary or Agriculture.
Sales
Experience:
Several years of sales and account management experience.
Value Selling:
Experience with value selling and designing an account development strategy/plan.
Language
Skills:
Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Team Player: Strong negotiation, presentation, contractual, and legal skills.
Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of business environments and sales financials.
Energy and Enthusiasm: High level of energy, engagement, and enthusiasm.
Communication
Skills:
Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
Organizational
Skills:
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to Travel: Ability and willingness to travel internationally 50% of the time
