For our Impulse Sales & eCommerce department, we are looking for an enthusiastic, communicative  and commercial Key  Account Manager (KAM). This position will be based out of Zaandam and is responsible for generating sales and driving the commercial business in the Impulse & eCommerce channels in The Netherlands. The KAM reports to the Sales Manager Impulse & eCommerce Europe, and is part of an enthusiastic team of (international) Key Account Managers.
Key activities and responsibilities
Deliver the sales and revenue targets  for the Impulse & eCommerce channels in The Netherlands.
Manage national / international customers  such as Shell, Sligro and Picnic on day-to-day key-account management and deliver set customer / channel objectives.
Contribute to strategy & ambition  for Netherlands by design and implement commercial strategy in line with AOP Netherlands and strategic direction Europe for Impulse & E-commerce channels.
Negotiate annual HQ deals  for promotions, terms& conditions and payment processes.
Develop and optimize  effective promotions together with customers
Assist in analyzing external data  and consolidating into market insights (dashboard)
Contribute to setting up effective customer presentations  based on insights and available capabilities.
Help design and support teams in activation plans ; POS material, Premiums etc. in close collaboration with (trade) Marketing;
Ensure optimized distribution of existing products , as well as a speedy growth of new product within the assigned channels.
Support development NPD funnel  tailored to specific channel needs in close contact with Marketing.
Initiate category projects  in close contact with Trade Marketing for optimizing shelf impact and joint business planning with customers;
Communicate effectively  with all other internal teams such as Marketing, Trade  Marketing, Demand  Planning, Customer Service and Finance;
Develop  new sources of growth  , based on business opportunities that you see at your account.
Job requirements

He/she is strong in building relations with our customers and has an  entrepreneurial  & Can-Do mentality. Applicants must exhibit  analytical  and negotiation skills, be able to think and act strategically and tactically, and have the flexibility to adapt to fast-moving  situations.
The ideal candidate has a master's degree and at least 3-4 years relevant commercial experience in  OOH/convenience/discount  business and eCommerce (preferably experienced with building distribution within out of home channels).
