The EMEA Mid-Market international team is responsible for building the international ads engine outside of the US, onboarding & growing advertisers to achieve their marketing objectives with proven solutions and at pace globally. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the team that expands the Reddit footprint: design the strategy, develop a high performing sales team and bring the magic of Reddit into new markets!
We're looking for sharp, positive and motivated self-starters to help us build this team from the ground up! In addition to laying the foundation of the team
We're introducing a new role into our Mid market team that is end to end responsible to grow our Torso & Tail accounts, managing both the pre and post sales journey of our clients. You will be responsible for your own book of Business, taking full ownership of strategic conversations, implementation & optimisations to grow the accounts. You will build & maintain a relationship at both client direct & agencies to meet their business objectives using Reddit's advertising suite.
For new to reddit accounts you will work closely with an acquisition CP to educate, help onboard and grow new to Reddit clients and help them find either first success. You will work closely with the wider AE community to define best practices, treatments and process improvements that allow for more sustainable growth, efficiency or scale. You will indirectly manage an Account Strategist and continuously look for opportunities to scale your work via the Account strategists program, tools and automations.
This role is required to work in person from our Amsterdam office. Reddit offer a generous relocation package.
Core Responsibilities :
Act as the CEO of your book of business, and take full ownership of strategic bets, revenue forecasting, and ensuring operational rigor.
Generate advertising revenue from assigned clients via ad agencies and advertisers directly, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
Responsible for revenue quota of assigned book of business each quarter
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Own client meetings from agenda to final presentation, instilling confidence and setting all interactions up for success by appropriately setting client expectations, identifying outcomes, and communicating clear next steps
Act as the primary point of contact for clients to communicate major platform updates, releases, changes, and/or opportunities that will deepen or expand the relationship
Provide strategic, proactive, and consultative advice to clients in order to uplevel and grow the relationship;
Identify areas of additional opportunity within existing client relationships, including new lines of business, and move them through to close
Enable and onboard new to Reddit Clients in collaboration with a Acquisition Client Partner
Communicate feedback on our sales processes, narratives, and products in order to advocate for customers and improve the team's effectiveness and efficiency
Implement & optimize campaigns ( with the help of account strategists) to meet our clients’ advertising objectives through performance-driven or awareness campaigns
Pull and analyze data to compile compelling and actionable insights to move your clients' businesses forward.
Recognize and represent client needs and asks to cross-functional stakeholders
Proactively and continually identify areas of improvement
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience in online media sales(platform experience preferred)
Strong understanding of the media landscape across the DACH region
Client-facing experience in advertising sales, account management, or paid social campaign management
Experience in monitoring marketing campaign performance, and make manual optimizations or strategic recommendations as needed
Experience in Pulling and analyze data to compile compelling and actionable insights to move your clients' businesses forward.
