Sales Representative, Sales Development Rep/SDR, Business Development, Inside Sales
Hallo, it’s Sam, the Director of Sales Development at Carv. I know the application process can often feel impersonal, so I wanted to leave a quick note on why you should consider joining Carv. Besides the fact that we’re an AI company offering a competitive SDR salary and strong benefits, we’re also an early‑stage business. That means things move fast. Direction changes constantly, and what you sold today might be obsolete tomorrow.
In my eyes, that’s the best environment to truly learn sales. I say this because it’s where I learned sales myself, working with this same founding, sales, and marketing leadership team. Firsthand, I can tell you this is a people‑oriented group. The connections I made didn’t end after we successfully exited our first company, Harver, in 2021. They’ve carried through into this new venture, where I’m now one of the leaders.
At Carv, SDRs have regular conversations with founders, along with a team and leader, me, who is dedicated to their success. Look us up and join myself, Marijn, Barklie, and Roy!
Major Benefits- Base salary between €35,000 and €45,000
- Uncapped commission with €7,968 OTE per quarter
- Company trips and regular team events
Our mission is simple, to make recruiting human again. AI is a major buzzword, and we understand how competitive the space is. We believe that by augmenting recruiters and freeing them to focus on candidate‑centric work, we can fundamentally change how enterprise recruiting is done.
Day to DayAt the core, the SDR role remains the same, cold calling, emailing, prospecting, and Linked In outreach. Where we believe Carv is different is in the margins. Consistency and organization matter, but creativity is essential in an early‑stage company.
Some recent SDR‑driven initiatives include delivering bagels to local prospects in person, attending trade shows and conferences, sending coffee vouchers to shops nearby our prospects, and sending custom landing pages se ideas came from SDRs, and you will have the same opportunity to make an impact.
ChallengesIt’s not all roses, we know that. We operate in a challenging environment where AI is everywhere, and we are doing one of the hardest things in sales, breaking into enterprise accounts across competitive markets. This role is not for the faint of heart, but success in a fast‑moving startup dramatically increases your long‑term value and career trajectory.
You are a native German speaker with strong business acumen who can quickly understand our prospects and clearly articulate Carv’s value. You thrive when balancing structured, repetitive work with creative initiatives that move the needle with high‑level enterprise accounts. You are curious, resilient, and motivated by impact rather than comfort.
