Senior Planning Manager

DSJ Global is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Planning Manager to join one of our esteemed clients, a leading manufacturing company located in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will be responsible:
Acting as a bridge between the commercial teams (demand planning) and the supply teams.
In collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and the supply planning department, creating and improving the demand plan for both the operational and tactical horizon.
Monitoring, analyzing, understanding, and challenging the quality of the enrichments provided by the commercial teams (assumptions, deltas, consumption, trends, issues, gaps, risks, opportunities) and issuing advice at request or on your own initiative based on your expertise.
Managing any activities related to the constraining and allocation process and ensuring the match of demand and supply, as well as managing the weekly and monthly demand review process as part of the S&OP cycle.
Monitoring and taking initiatives to improve the KPI indicators:
Forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service level, and waste.
Executing flawless analysis and providing adequate reporting when necessary.
Providing insights at request or on your own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments through periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
Your requirements:
Excellent analytical skills and results-driven mindset.
Master's degree and/or Bachelor's degree with relevant working experience (6+ years).
Knowledge and experience with forecasting and/or supply chain/logistics, preferably in an FMCG/Food environment.
Knowledge of ERP systems (OMP or SAP APO), Power-BI, and advanced Excel.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is desirable.
