Mission:
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Scale administrator to join our team. As a Power Scale expert, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and management of our Power Scale clusters. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations for upgrades and enhancements. Your expertise in Power Scale OneFS and Big Data will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering and configuring Power Scale clusters, including creating and managing nodes, clusters, and access
- Providing expert-level support for Power Scale OneFS, including upgrades, updates, and troubleshooting
- Analyzing customer environments, designing migration solutions, and performing associated tasks
- Recommending upgrades and enhancements based on new software releases
- Utilizing Power Scale tools to monitor and analyze cluster performance
- Collaborating with customers to understand their needs and provide expert-level support
- Performing initial configuration tasks, node preparation, and removal
- Configuring OneFS features and navigating client and file access details
Desired Candidate Attributes:
- Expert-level knowledge of Power Scale, including OneFS
- Strong understanding of Power Scale cluster architecture and installation engagement actions
- Ability to analyze customer environments and design migration solutions
- Experience with Power Scale tools, including cluster monitoring and analysis
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with customers
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest Power Scale features and functionality
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and guidelines
- Experience with NVT, FDC, and Big Data is a plus
