Strategic Cybersecurity Expertise:
In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing FCERT's strategic objectives, cultivating high-level partnerships, and elevating intelligence sharing to safeguard the Dutch financial services against advanced cyber threats.
Financial Computer Emergency Response Team – Netherlands (FCERT) is a formal alliance between ABN Amro, ING and Rabobank. FCERT’s aim is to increase information sharing and collaboration between its members and strengthen the overall resiliency of the Dutch financial services sector against cyber attacks.
This person is responsible for growing and developing capability and the day to day management of all team activities including intelligence production, support to incidents, intelligence sharing and collaboration with internal and external partners, and process improvement.
The role will report to a Steering Committee made up of the member banks.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop strategy and roadmap to grow FCERT capability and brand.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with FCERT members and other stakeholders within the cyber security community.
- Act as key point of contact and subject matter expert for all FCERT matters internal and external.
- Participate in local and regional intelligence sharing communities, represent FCERT and raise its profile and influence in this space.
- Provide advice, guidance and mentorship to FCERT analysts.
- Direct, oversee, produce and provide quality assurance for all intelligence product including written reports and verbal and written briefings.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence in the private sector, preferably in Banking and Financial services sector.
- Direct experience of setting up, running and/or actively participating in cross-organisation collaboration projects e.g. FS-ISAC, CSIG, NCFTA, CDA.
- Wider information security knowledge and experience especially in the field of security operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer related major.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the intelligence cycle and its application in financial services organizations.
- Hands-on experience in audit engagement and risk management is added advantage.
- Experience in using various open sources and tools to research external threat actors and threat actor groups.
- Experience with SIEM and TIP technologies.
- Worked in SOC analysis and investigation environment is preferred (nice to have).
- Firm grasp of Link-analysis methods and software such as Maltego and Palantir would be an asset.
- Having technical security certifications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and good proficiency in English (can explain a difficult topic to an audience).
- Able to connect with various stakeholders and connect the dots.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Structured and skilled to pick relevant information from a large amount of information.
- Enthusiastic team player with an agile mindset.
- Able to take a coordinating or leading role.
- Good knowledge sharing and coaching skills.
