As a Technical Architect
- Banking/Mortgage Domain, you will make an impact by meeting clients, understanding objectives, gathering requirements, and analyzing current systems. You will recommend, design, customize, and implement hardware/software solutions while acting as a trusted technical advisor. You will be a valued member of our ISG Practice, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

• Meet clients, understand objectives, gather requirements, and analyze current systems.
• Recommend, design, customize, and implement hardware/software solutions.
• Create reports, document processes, and train client staff/users on new systems.
• Provide expert guidance, troubleshoot issues, train users, manage projects, and document solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor with strong problem-solving and client-relationship skills.

Onsite – This role requires presence at the client or Cognizant office. We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support a healthy work-life balance through various wellbeing programs.

• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting and solution delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of one major language ecosystem (Java, Python, .NET, JavaScript) and associated frameworks.
• Ability to evaluate and guide system architecture decisions for scalability and maintainability.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases (SQL), scripting, and cloud technologies.
• Expertise in build automation tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and TDD principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Experience in Integration Patterns (EIP), RESTful APIs, and message-oriented middleware (JMS, Active
  
  MQ).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.

• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of enterprise security (OAuth, SAML/SSO).
• Experience in performance engineering.
• Exposure to banking transformation engagements (Mortgage, Retail, Corporate, Private Banking).
• Knowledge of Dutch language.
• AI knowledge leveraging tools for automation, modeling, analysis, and code generation.
