Domain Architect

About the role

As a Domain Architect – Core Insurance & Finance
, you will make an impact by shaping the IT landscape to deliver real business value. You will be a valued member of the Architecture Guild and work collaboratively with IT delivery teams, Enterprise Architects, Security Officers, and Scrum teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with business priorities.

• Own and create the architecture and design of all applications within the domain.
• Maintain and evolve the domain application roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
• Lead initiatives to modernize policy administration systems and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, reusable, and process-aligned technical architectures.
• Provide guidance on system design, integration, and security measures.

• 10+ years of experience in application architecture, software design, or technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, ideally within financial services.
• Expertise in architectural integration patterns (services, API, event-driven architecture) and concepts (SOA, microservices).
• Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and frameworks (e.g., Archimate).
• Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and API design.
• Programming experience (Java, C#, Type Script) and familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle).
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML) and messaging technologies (Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ).

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Experience with cross-app development (React Native, React.js).
• Familiarity with ETL tools, application servers, and databases (Oracle, Postgre
  
  SQL).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to bridge business strategy and technical architecture with clarity and influence.
