Senior AI Engineer

In this role, you’ll apply machine learning and AI techniques to solve real-world problems, deliver end-to-end solutions, and make our products smarter every day, all while learning, growing, and shaping the future of AI at Speakap.

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models end to end

• Build and maintain robust AI and data pipelines for production use

• Monitor and optimize AI systems for scalability, performance, and reliability

• Prototype and test new approaches, refining models quickly and effectively

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate AI into core product features

• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and applying new AI/ML frameworks and techniques

• Mentoring medior and junior engineers

• PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning/ AI engineering or applied machine learning, including at least 1 year working with Generative AI models (LLMs, VLMs, or multimodal)

• Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with asynchronous programming and key ML frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn; hands‑on with LLM frameworks like Lang Chain or Lang Graph

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions, from design to deployment, with cloud experience (e.g., AWS AI/ML services) considered a strong plus

• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and deploying microservices with Docker and Kubernetes; knowledge of orchestration best practices is a plus

• A collaborative and ownership mindset, able to work independently and support junior colleagues when needed

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently, support junior colleagues, and clearly explain AI capabilities and limitations to both technical and non‑technical audiences
