ServiceNow HRSD Developer

Responsibilities

As a Service Now HRSD Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, configure, and support end-to-end Service Now Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions.
• Lead the implementation and enhancement of HRSD modules including Case & Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, Lifecycle Events, and Employee Document Management.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders, technical teams, and integration partners to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric HR digital solutions.
• Drive HR process automation initiatives to improve employee experience across onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance while supporting continuous improvements in an Agile environment.

• 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Service Now HRSD.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of the Service Now HRSD Suite, including Case Management, Knowledge Management, and Lifecycle Events.
• Strong experience with Service Now Platform capabilities such as Service Portal, Flow Designer, Workflow, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Proven experience in HR process automation, document management, and employee service delivery optimization.
• Advanced scripting expertise using JavaScript and Glide APIs, covering both client-side and server-side development.
• Hands-on experience with integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third-party HR systems such as Workday, SAP Success Factors, and Oracle HCM.
• Strong exposure to Reporting, Dashboards, Performance Analytics, and HR metrics tracking.
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy, including role-based access control, encryption, and GDPR requirements.

• Translate HR business requirements into effective Service Now HRSD technical solutions.
• Configure and customize HR services while following Service Now best practices and standards.
• Automate complex HR workflows and lifecycle events to improve efficiency and employee experience.
• Develop reusable, maintainable scripts and configurations using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
• Design and manage secure integrations with external HRIS and enterprise systems.
• Analyze HR data and build meaningful dashboards, reports, and performance analytics.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and audit requirements.
