About the role
Throughout your time as a Human Resource Specialist at our organization, you will be an essential part of the HR team. You will report directly to the Head of Recruitment and will have sole responsibility for managing all HR operations within the company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving employee engagement, implementing fair and transparent policies, and ensuring compliance with Dutch labour law.
By providing innovative and responsible HR solutions, you will contribute significantly to the development and success of our organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization;
- Educate employees and managers on HR policies and procedures, fostering a culture of fairness, respect, and adherence to best practices;
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management, in accordance with company policies and labour law regulations;
- Manage and maintain HR systems, databases, and records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality;
- Administer and manage our compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, payroll coordination, and employee benefits enrolment;
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation and benefits-related inquiries;
- Prepare HR reports and metrics, analysing trends and providing insights to support decision-making processes;
- Support HR-related administrative tasks, such as employment contract preparation, work permit applications, and employee data management;
- Stay updated on Dutch labour law regulations and ensure compliance within all HR practices and procedures;
- Manage and coordinate the full onboarding and offboarding process for employees;
- Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including the IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service), Municipality, insurance providers, and other relevant parties.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 2–4 years of experience in HR roles with exposure to various HR functions;
- Relevant knowledge of Dutch labour law and employment regulations;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
- Proficient in HR software and systems for data management and reporting;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
