Cooking is your passion. You enjoy creating delightful dishes. With your creativity, you come up with new dishes. Together with your colleagues and chefs, you improve your self-made culinary creations. They might even become part of our new menu. Your cooking skills ensure our guests of unique experiences and delicious food in Bowery Restaurant of Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Besides that, you and your colleagues will contribute to even more hotel awards, such as the World Travel Awards and the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.
Due to your work experience, we understand that we do not need to explain what your daily tasks will be, but just in case we will explain it shortly.
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for making mise en place for all our dishes. All our dishes are freshly made, so you work thoroughly to make sure all mise en place is finished before service. During the lunch and dinner service, you prepare the dishes from our a la carte menu. Besides that, you are also capable of producing group dinners and buffets for our Banquet & Events department.

Lastly, you use your creativity to create new recipes for our seasonal menu.

Experience as a cook in a restaurant and/or hotel.
A real team player with a ‘Hands-on’ mentality.
Communicative skills in English.
Product knowledge and creativity.
Flexibility to work, also in evenings and weekends.
In possession of a valid residence and working permit for the Netherlands.
