The Opportunity:
Senior Quality Assurance Officer (GDP)
As a Senior Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality and Information Security Management System and ensuring we meet all relevant GMP and GDP standards.
You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Supply Chain, Program Management, Regulatory Affairs and Engineering, and you will support our Responsible Person and Qualified Person in ensuring compliant operations across our programs.
What you will do in this role:- Prepare product and batch release documentation and support batch disposition.
- Lead internal audits and support external vendor and regulatory audits.
- Manage deviations, complaints, temperature excursions, CAPAs and Change Controls.
- Maintain our electronic QMS and draft procedures, templates and training materials.
- Deliver cGxP training and manage training records.
- Prepare PQRs, annual updates and quality reports.
- Support supplier qualification, customer approval, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Contribute to qualification, validation and periodic reviews of GxP computerized systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, ideally (bio) pharmaceutical.
- At least 4 years of pharmaceutical QA experience.
- Strong knowledge of EU GMP, GDP and related legislation.
- Experience with QMS systems, internal audits and batch review.
- Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA and Quality Risk Management.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Professional English proficiency.
Nice to have: external audit experience, FMEA, experience in RA, PV, MA or Supply Chain, and system qualification experience.
What success looks like in the first 6 months:- You independently prepare high quality batch release packages.
- You lead internal audits and support external audits with confidence.
- You manage your QMS responsibilities consistently and on time.
- You draft PQRs, procedures and training materials with minimal guidance.
- You drive at least one small quality improvement initiative.
- You become a trusted QA partner for cross functional teams.
