We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Finance Controller to support the financial operations and growth of FLORE FLORE. This role is hands-on, analytical and detail-oriented, and ideal for someone who enjoys working across financial data, reporting, forecasting and cross-team collaboration. You will play a key role in managing numbers, keeping financial processes running smoothly, and supporting the team with clear and reliable financial insights.

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models, including inventory forecasting.
• Create and maintain management reports on sales, margins, inventory, and cash flow.
• Analyze purchasing, sales, and inventory data to support buying and sales decisions; provide insights on bestsellers, slow movers, and inventory risks.
• Control the general ledger, consolidate accounts, and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closures.
• Reconcile financial and operational data across order systems, warehouses, and bookkeeping.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payroll, and monitoring outstanding payments.
• Monitor performance against budgets and KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Analyze costs and margins across departments and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, managing financial risks.
• Act as a sparring partner for the founder and CFO and support projects that enable scalable growth, automation, and more efficient reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align financial practices.

We are looking for an ambitious and pro-active team player who satisfies the following requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance.
• You have sensibility towards the Fashion and Luxury sector.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and product development processes. Experience in the jersey fabric industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• A proactive, hands-on mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Highly organized and driven with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English – written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and across a team.
• Bachelor degree in Finance or equivalent.
• You are skilled with all the relevant tools for the job (e.g. Excel, reporting software, email communication tools).
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
