- We are looking for aSenior Project Lead Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering and project management services for large-scale renewable energy projects, specialising in offshore wind energy and substations.

- Tasks & responsibilities:

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all objectives, deadlines, and standards are met.

Design, develop, and optimise Mechanical systems for offshore installations. including offshore substations and wind energy structures.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to define project scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Review and approve mechanical design specifications, drawings, and calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Mentor junior engineers, providing training and support to enhance their technical skills and career development.

Conduct risk assessments and implement best practices for safety and environmental considerations in all projects.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in offshore engineering, renewable energy technologies, and industry regulations.

Requirements Sr. Project Lead Mechanical Engineer

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with additional certifications or qualifications in project management or leadership, is an advantage!

3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a track record of successful project management and technical problem-solving within offshore or related industries.

Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to guide and motivate a team of engineers.

Excellent communication and information management capabilities, capable of effectively managing project details and acting as a primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.

A positive and motivated personality, with a strong commitment to driving projects forward and overcoming engineering challenges.

Fluency in Dutch is highly desirable, complemented by a strong proficiency in English to facilitate clear and effective communication within a diverse work environment.
