The total addressable global market for counter‑drone is assessed at approximately $100 billion, and is currently at the nascent stage with much of the growth still to come, with Drone Shield well positioned as a global market leader, and the only public listed pure‑play business in this sector.

The company has grown from 11 employees in 2017 to over 450 staff globally today, and is on track to reach around 550 by the end of 2026. This expansion includes investment of over A $50 million annually in R&D, a global pipeline exceeding A $2.5 billion, and continuous scaling of production capacity to meet accelerating demand.

The role is based at Drone Shield’s central Sydney headquarters. Overseas on‑ground presence includes Virginia (USA), Netherlands, Denmark, Mexico and Dubai, as well as distributors in over 70 countries worldwide.

About the role

Drone Shield is seeking a Project Manager – Delivery Operations to coordinate and drive customer delivery activities across demonstrations, installations, training, and post‑delivery support.

This role retains core project management fundamentals but is intentionally operational and execution‑focused
. Many activities do not arrive as fully defined projects, and priorities can evolve based on customer requirements, operational constraints, and resource availability. Success is achieved through judgement, coordination, and action — not through rigid process alone.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and supported closely with the relevant leadership of the Chief Delivery Officer based in Australia, this role will join the growing European team in Amsterdam and serve as the central coordination point between Sales, Field Service Engineers (FSEs), Engineering, Logistics, and Operations to ensure customer delivery activities progress effectively.
