Our client is seeking seasoned Lead and Senior Engineers in Piping & Mechanical to join their growing team based in Amsterdam. These are permanent positions offering a mix of on‑site project involvement and flexible work from a modern office.

As a Lead or Senior Engineer, you will act as the right hand to the Discipline Manager, supervising and mentoring a team of approximately 10 engineers. You will contribute directly to a range of high‑impact projects in sectors such as waste processing and steel production. Your role will be key in ensuring technical quality, guiding project planning, and fostering the growth of junior team members.

This position gives you the opportunity to work on engineering projects that actively contribute to emission reduction, energy efficiency, and industrial safety—all aligned with climate‑neutral ambitions. You will have a significant say in both conceptual and detailed designs and will represent the engineering discipline in client meetings, planning sessions, and technical reviews.

• Leading the engineering process from concept to completion.
• Managing scope, planning, and technical alignment with stakeholders.
• Overseeing design deliverables, calculations, and drawing reviews.
• Coaching and mentoring junior and medior engineers.
• Conducting site visits and preparing cost estimates for design and implementation.
• Collaborating with other technical disciplines in a 3D engineering environment.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
