Site Manager – Solar Power Plant (m/f/d) – Hungary
We are currently looking for a Site Manager – Solar Power Plant (m/f/d) for an Energy client.
Start: 05.01.26
End: 31.12.26
Volume: fulltime
Location: 60% construction sites in Hungary (Györ, Moson, Sapron) / 40% remote.
Travel: Must be willing to travel to the UK and Poland.
Project description: The aim of the Renewables 2025 Execution Portfolio is to successfully execute the construction of solar power plants in the UK, Hungary, and Poland.
Tasks (performed independently)- Monitoring, steering and documentation of the quality requirements across all assigned projects (UK, PL, HU), defining adherence of contractual, regulatory and industry quality requirements by contractors, suppliers and partners based on project information, quality checklists and client‑provided requirements and own knowledge and experience.
- Oversight of the assigned projects: TET (Nereusz / Atreusz) near the Austrian border, UK (Berryhill, start approx. Q2 2026), PL (start in Q3 2026).
- Establishment, maintenance and oversight of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) from late‑stage development through execution and project closure, ensuring consistent application of quality standards.
- Creation and review of quality documentation including Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements and related records with subcontractors on‑site.
- Conducting and overseeing audits, inspections and surveillance of contractors and suppliers, monitoring compliance against approved internal standards, specifications and quality management systems provided by the client.
- Identification and documentation of non‑conformances, driving timely resolution in line with contract terms while preventing recurrence based on professional evaluation to achieve a compliant process.
- Gathering relevant information from client teams (Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Construction, Project Management) to ensure contractors comply with all set standards and presenting this information to the client.
- Creating a bi‑weekly Quality Risk Report – covering quality risks, deviations and potential impacts on project delivery – as a basis for transparency and proactive risk management, handed over to project leadership.
- Documenting continuous improvement initiatives by defining quality requirements in RFQs/RFPs, applying lessons learned, leveraging digital tools and promoting best practices across the project lifecycle, handed over to the team.
- Creating a Quality‑status Report (bi‑weekly or at key stages) and handing it over to the internal Quality Management Team Lead for sign‑off and further use.
- Solar experience: 3‑5 years in a similar position is an absolute must; electrical knowledge is beneficial.
- Software/skills:
Proficiency in quality management tools, auditing techniques and reporting methods (ISO 9001, NCR processing, corrective action management). - Language:
Very good English;
German and other languages are a plus.
