On behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking an Embedded Control Engineer to join their innovative team in Amsterdam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of sustainable home energy solutions and make a real impact on climate change.

• Design and implement state-of-the-art control algorithms like Model Predictive Control (MPC) for home energy applications
• Deliver high-quality embedded software following best practices
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to ensure smooth integration
• Develop and update simulation environments for testing control designs
• Work in cross‑functional teams to integrate control algorithms into products

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in control software or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing control algorithms such as MPC
• Proficiency in C++
• Good understanding of control theory principles applicable to home energy systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow

• Competitive monthly salary between €3,000 - €6,000, plus 8% holiday allowance
