About the job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Technician on Drone & Ground systems to join our Production & Maintenance team. You will be working on the assembly and maintenance of our drones and drone-related products. You work closely together with the Engineering- and Flight Operations teams to ensure we have high quality drones and supporting ground systems to save lives.

As a Drone & Ground Systems Technician your key responsibilities will include:

• Propulsion system installation, testing, and calibrations;
• UAV inspection and maintenance;
• Composite trimming;
• Tool/jig design using 3D printers and laser cutters.

About you

Preferably you have all-round knowledge and experience as a technician in the mechatronics field or similar. You are able to read and work from technical drawings (CAD) and manuals. You’re excellent at soldering and, ideally, have an understanding of Embedded systems. Enjoying the challenge of improving both the production line, maintenance, and your own skills is important for this role.

You see yourself as a team player, well organised with a can-do mentality who can work independently, whilst also enjoying office banter in between hard work. You are resilient, flexible, like to be creative, and find resourceful solutions. You have a proactive work ethic and don’t shy away from taking initiative in the assembly of our product. You get things done while working precisely, thoroughly, and ensuring quality and reliability.

Requirements

For this role, you bring at least 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar Technician role. You have a Technical Secondary vocational education or Technical College (in the Netherlands MBO or HBO) or proven experience with drone building and/or similar industries. Also important for this role:

• Hands-on mentality, team-focused, organised, and analytical;
• Experience in high-tech start-ups or scale-ups is a benefit;
• Fluency in English;
• EU citizenship or an EU work permit.

• The salary range is €2300 - €3200 gross based on a 40 hour workweek, depending on experience.
