Company overview:
Our client is an international energy transition company with offices in seven countries. They develop and deliver clean energy solutions based on photovoltaic (PV) systems across the entire value chain, from project development and financing to construction, operation, and energy management.
Your Role:
As a  Energy & Power Markets Analyst , you will play a key role in supporting power offtake and hedging activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing energy assets in the Netherlands. Your work will involve in-depth analysis of the Dutch power market, regulatory changes, and their impact on energy offtake strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regulatory and power market analysis to support power offtake and hedging activities.
Monitor Dutch power market trends and assess the impact of regulations on energy markets.
Prepare regular reports on market dynamics, regulations, and power offtake activities.
Support the origination, negotiation, and closure of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and other offtake agreements.
Provide support to the asset management team in the operation of power plants.

Your Profile:

Previous experience in regulatory analysis of Dutch energy markets within a utility, consultancy, or trading company.
Experience analyzing market trends in the Dutch power sector.
Strong understanding of energy market regulations and trends.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Fluent in Dutch and English
