Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: European Media Art Residency: 2-Month Collaboration
Overview  European Media Art Platform (EMAP) returns in 2026 with a residency programme for artists and collectives in 15 countries. EMAP invites artists, artist duos, collectives, and artistic collaborations working in digital, media, robotic, and bio art to apply for a two-month production residency in 2026.
The EMAP residency programme places a strong emphasis on collaboration. Applicants must therefore apply as a duo or collective, or propose a collaborative project with a partner of their choice or with a collaborator local to the host institution.

Onassis Stegi, Athens, Greece
RIXC Centre for New Media Culture, Riga, Latvia
Eligibility  Applicants must be EU residents or taxpayers in an EU member state, or residents/taxpayers of one of the eligible non-EU countries. Undergraduate and Master’s students are not eligible. PhD candidates and emerging artists of any age and academic background may apply.
Support   Two-month production residency at one EMAP host organisation

4,000 EUR grant
2,000 EUR grant for collaborating artist(s)
