We’re on the lookout for a Content Director: a visionary leader who thrives on pushing creative boundaries, mentoring top talent, and crafting breakthrough social-first campaigns. At GoSpooky, we don’t just follow trends. We set them! We need someone who lives and breathes content, understands the pulse of social media culture, and knows how to turn insights into powerful storytelling. As our Content Director, you ll be at the helm of our content team, guiding creatives and strategists to develop compelling, platform-native content that resonates with audiences and exceeds client expectations.

The Role   Lead and mentor a team of content creatives and strategists, ensuring high-quality output that meets client and company goals.
Oversee and shape content strategies, aligning campaigns with client objectives to drive engagement and impact.
Stay ahead of social and pop culture trends, identifying opportunities to create innovative, social-first content.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of ideas across various media platforms.
Develop and present creative visions to clients, securing buy-in and aligning stakeholders on strategic direction.
Elevate GoSpooky’s creative approach by championing bold, experimental storytelling techniques.
Qualifications   8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within a social or creative agency.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
A strong portfolio showcasing successful social-led campaigns and content strategies.
Hands-on expertise in video editing, storytelling, creative writing, and art direction.
Ability to inspire, mentor, and push teams to deliver impactful work.
Expertise in developing and overseeing content strategies that drive success.
Strong understanding of social and pop culture trends to create relevant content.
Ability to present ideas, secure buy-in, and align teams and clients.
Proven experience leading and executing high-impact social media campaigns.
