Producer, Creative Arts​/Media

At BUCK we're looking for a Producer to join our team based in Amsterdam.

BUCK is seeking a full‑time experienced Producer. Qualified candidates will manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with our clients and BUCK’s creative, technical and management teams. Successful candidates will possess strong project management skills, be familiar with current creative, live‑action, design, 2D and 3D animation production techniques and workflows, have the ability to create and control budgets and schedules, and foster creative partnerships.

As the first point of contact with our clients, espéc candidates will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, be well‑presented and have a proven track record of exceptional client service.

• Client Communication and Project Coordination
  • Communicate regularly with clients to clarify details, raise questions, and ensure client needs are understood and addressed.
  • Facilitate client review sessions, problem‑solve where possible, and elevate issues to Executive Producers or Head of Production when necessary.
  • Manage client expectations across all projects, negotiating and communicating effectively and seeking support for complex cases.
• Project Organisation and Documentation
  • Create and organise folders following proper naming conventions; proactively add and update team members as needed.
  • Ensure all purchase requests are approved, submitted, and documented with an understanding of licensing implications for all inputs.
  • Successfully set up new projects and manage current ones utilising all needed resources and platforms.
• Project Tracking and Production
  • Accurately allocate team resources, manage production planners, and approve bookings.
  • Submit project actuals, address any flags فإن proactively update status reports.
  • Manage and approve team’s hours and complete all steps of project closeout on the appropriate platforms.
• Billing and Invoicing
  • Monitor client and vendor invoice schedules, approve invoices, and ensure timely submissions.
• Bidding and Scoping
  • Collaborate with Creative Leads and Department Heads to scope larger projects, ensuring clarity and avoiding vague language.
  • Contribute to project bids by coordinating with creative teams, considering scheduling, resources, and project scope. All bids are reviewed by the EP and Head of Production (HoP).
  • Forward any new business opportunities to the new business team.

• Minimum 4 years experience in this position in the field.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to multi‑task and foresee upcoming production problems alongside their solutions.
• Experience in producing live‑action, AR and other new media a plus.
• Based in the Netherlands.
• Knowledge of the Dutch language is considered an asset, but is not a requirement.
• The ability to be in the studio throughout the week / at a minimum once a week. BUCK Europe has a flexible work policy and for this role we feel in studio time is valuable.
