Hybrid / Remote (negotiable). Duration: 3–6 months. Amsterdam, Netherlands.

We're looking for a Filmmaking & Media Intern to collaborate with our users to create short, documentary‑style videos that highlight inspiring campaigns and real human stories. This internship provides hands‑on experience in content production, storytelling, and social‑impact communication.

• Connect with selected Why Donate users to understand their story and campaign.
• Plan, film, and edit short videos (2–5 minutes) that show their journey, challenges, and impact.
• Shoot authentic images and conduct interviews, taking the sensitivity of the subject into account.
• Work with the marketing team to ensure the videos align with Why Donate's brand identity.
• Edit content for various platforms (Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, etc.).
• Think creatively about new formats and storytelling approaches.

• Studying Film, Media, (Online) Content Creation, Journalism, or Creative Business.
• Basic skills in filming, sound, and editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Strong storytelling ability and proficiency in capturing emotion in images.
• Good communication skills, sociable, and comfortable interacting with varied individuals.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
