Job Responsibilities- Perform monthly cash/escrow account reconciliations.
- Prepare accounting transactions (including but not limited to acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, build to suit) and prepare related journal entries and reporting files.
- Reconcile between third-party financial statements and Company’s books and records.
- Analyze intercompany and related-party transactions, perform supporting reconciliations, and book simple intercompany journal entries.
- Prepare balance sheet analyses and income statement variance and fluctuation analyses.
- Responsible for local GAAP micro or small financial statement preparation and assistance in statutory audits.
- Preparations and filing of VAT returns.
- Preparation and filling of other local reporting obligations.
- Assistance with preparation of all tax required filings.
- Coding of Accounts payable invoices.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting request from Asset Management, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Management.
- Assistance in forecasting and related actual to budget analysis.
- Assist in various areas within the Accounting department.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement projects.
- Relevant education in Accounting or Finance (CA, ACCA, Bsc or Msc).
- Good communication skills, a high level of proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures. An energetic, “can do and will do” approach.
- Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work with detail, without losing sight of the business relevance.
- Hard working and willing to put in effort and time.
Commensurate with experience.
