Position Overview:

Satya Bharti Senior Secondary School is seeking a dynamic, committed, and knowledgeable Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Political Science to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of political science, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:
Teach Political Science to students in grades 11 and 12, ensuring adherence to the prescribed curriculum.
Design and deliver well-structured lessons that are engaging and meet academic standards.
Integrate innovative teaching methods, including digital resources, to enhance learning outcomes.
Promote discussions, debates, and critical thinking on topics such as political systems, governance, rights, and international relations.
Assessment & Evaluation:
Develop and administer periodic assessments, including assignments, projects, and exams.
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve academically and develop analytical skills.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
Student Engagement & Mentoring:
Foster an inclusive and interactive classroom environment that encourages students to actively participate.
Mentor students, providing academic and career guidance, especially for those pursuing higher education in Political Science and related fields.
Collaboration & Professional Development:
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance cross-disciplinary initiatives.
Participate in regular departmental meetings to discuss curriculum updates, student progress, and teaching strategies.
Continuously upgrade knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities, workshops, and seminars.

Qualifications:

Educational

Qualification:

B.Ed. (or equivalent teaching qualification).
Experience in teaching Political Science at the senior secondary (11-12) level is desirable.

In-depth knowledge of Political Science, including Indian Constitution, international relations, political theories, and current political events.
