* The Senior Accountant position applies principles of accounting and other process skills to assist the monthly close and other reporting requirements.
** Essential
Job Duties and Responsibilities
*** Coordinates the monthly close process for a company code(s) managed within the North America Accounting group including but not limited to journal postings, intercompany reconciliations, assessments, etc.
* Prepares and/or reviews intercompany statements for worldwide subsidiaries.
* Prepares and/or reviews posting journals and adjusting entries to the general ledger.
* Prepares and/or reviews monthly account reconciliations.
* Assists with both internal and external audit processes.
* Partners with peers on the team, as well as cross functionally with those in other areas such as FP&A, HR, Treasury, Tax, Internal Leadership and Business Group personnel.
* Prepares Ad hoc analyses and reporting as requested.
* Provides assistance in all areas of financial reporting as requested.
* Manage lease accounting compliance.
* ** Education and Experience Requirements
*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
* Minimum 3-5 years related experience.
* CPA and public accounting firm experience a plus.
* SAP/SAP 4
Hana experience a plus
* SEC reporting experience a plus
* ** Preferred

* Ability to manage multiple tasks well, especially during monthly close cycle, and change priorities as needed.
* Great relationship skills. Ability to interact with all levels of staff and financial management.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to present information and respond to questions from others in the organization.
* Ability to meet deadlines consistently in a changing business environment.
* Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
* Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel required, knowledge of SAP and One Stream preferred.
* Outstanding customer focus including attributes of empathy, compassion and service orientation.
* Passionate and high energy which can assist in selling future vision to customers.
* Strong detail orientation.
* Adaptability/flexibility which includes being open to change and conducting business differently.
* Focused on continuous learning and developing new skills.
