As a Shift Leader at our Amherst store located at 30 Main St, Amherst MA 01002
, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" (and beyond), by predicting the flow of business and ensuring a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. It also means taking pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and enjoyable night for your store!

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?
- Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience in our bakery
- Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating important information, monitoring production efficiency, ensuring team members adhere to company standards and procedures, and assisting in training and coaching
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, following safe food handling practices
- Manage cash handling and deposits
DESIRED SKILLS/
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- Experience with Point of Sale systems
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and results-driven
- Ability to lead by example and motivate others
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
