Shipper-Food Production Facility

Our client, a leading North American bakery company, is seeking a Shipper-Food Production Facility to join their team. As a Shipper, you will be part of the production team supporting the packaging and quality assurance of delicious baked goods. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, a dedication to health and safety, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipper-Food Production Facility

Location: Amherst, NS

Pay Range: $19.89 per hour

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week

What's the Job?

• Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes.
• Work in the production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets.
• Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
• Collaborate closely with production team members to ensure product quality.
• Assist machine operators and crew with other duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• A passion for bread and baked goods.
• Strong people skills—approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Commitment to health and safety for yourself and your colleagues.
• Ability to digest constructive feedback and use it to improve your skills and performance.
