Main

Responsibilities
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, email, or in person
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies
  • Schedule sales activity, maintain records for sales reports, and create and submit expense reports
  • Respond to leads from CRM (Sharp Spring)
  • Develop and maintain a customer database
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Identify and participate in sales events and trade shows
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
  • Travel both domestically and internationally
Education and Experience
  • Education in or understanding of chemistry and/or chemical, electrical engineering and its applications in academic and industrial setting
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of customer service
  • Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
