MainResponsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads
- Source and develop client referrals
- Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, email, or in person
- Prepare sales action plans and strategies
- Schedule sales activity, maintain records for sales reports, and create and submit expense reports
- Respond to leads from CRM (Sharp Spring)
- Develop and maintain a customer database
- Make sales calls to new and existing clients
- Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
- Identify and participate in sales events and trade shows
- Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
- Travel both domestically and internationally
- Education in or understanding of chemistry and/or chemical, electrical engineering and its applications in academic and industrial setting
- Knowledge of principles and practices of sales
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Knowledge of customer service
- Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets
