Draftsman custom metal manufacturing

We are seeking a detail-oriented Draftsman to join the engineering team  design and manufacture custom containment enclosures for a wide range of industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings that meet client specifications and manufacturing standards. This role is essential in translating conceptual ideas into detailed, workable designs to ensure successful production and high-quality outcomes.

• Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics based on client requirements and engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to refine design concepts.
• Use CAD software to produce detailed 2D models for manufacturing processes.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Assist in the preparation of supporting technical documents for manufacturing, and assembly instructions.
• Modify existing drawings and manage project files and documentation.

• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Solid Works.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce precise technical drawings.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of industry standards related to manufacturing design.
