Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Amesbury

Prospero Teaching is an education recruitment agency seeking enthusiastic and caring Primary SEN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Amesbury. In this role, you'll provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them access learning and thrive in a supportive environment.

Contract Details:
  • Location - Amesbury, Wiltshire
  • Position - Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work - Supporting pupils with SEN in primary settings

  • Full time/part time - Full time or ad‑hoc
  • Pay rate - £120 to £150 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Experience, Training and

Qualifications:
  • A degree is preferred but not essential
  • At least one year of experience working with young people
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training completed within the last year (we can provide this if needed)
Eligibility:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Ability to provide two professional references related to working with children
