System Software Engineer; Tegra​/BSP

The Digital Agriculture Innovation Lab at Iowa State University is looking for a System Software Engineer to work on industry projects shaping the next generation of agricultural technology—without giving up stability, benefits, or balance.

• Develop embedded and system‑level software for robotic and vehicle‑based ag platforms using C, C++, Python, Yocto
  , and related tools
• Build and maintain custom Yocto BSPs for NVIDIA Tegra So Cs
• Integrate and optimize data pipelines across CAN, Ethernet, GMSL2, MIPI, I2C, SPI, and UART
• Tune ISPs, calibrate sensors, and support multi‑camera computer vision systems
• Integrate sensing, perception, controls, and data processing on mobile platforms
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and industry partners to deliver deployable solutions
