Job Description
We are looking for several Installation & Cable Technicians for projects in Ames, Des Moines, IA, and surrounding states. Some travel is required, and per diem is provided for travel days. Candidates should have at least 6 months of low‑voltage experience, though individuals with technical schooling and hands‑on training will also be considered. Technicians will be responsible for installing data racks/cabinets, Cat6 and COAX cabling, faceplates, and completing testing and labeling.
Additional duties include setting up Direc
TV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes for individual rooms, as well as assisting with server closet buildouts for network infrastructure. Work environments include both indoor and outdoor settings across school and apartment buildings. Occasionally, tasks may involve digging trenches and performing directional drilling. Technicians will receive daily direction from project leads.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
