* Overview* We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. The Apprentice Plumber will assist in various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.
* Responsibilities* - Assist licensed plumbers with the installation and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Participate in field service calls, providing assistance on-site for residential or commercial plumbing issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Help with HVAC-related tasks as needed, gaining exposure to related systems.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop basic math skills necessary for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
* Qualifications* - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems or related fields such as HVAC is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is advantageous but not required at the start.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn new techniques.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
