Tyler Technologies is currently looking to hire a Technical Solutions Specialist – Low-Code Forms & Payments to support the configuration and delivery of digital services within our Iowa business unit. This role is responsible for building and maintaining online service forms in our Engagement Builder platform and managing integrations with the Common Checkout Page (CCP) payment solution. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on low-code configuration experience with working knowledge of API-based integrations, serving as the technical liaison between project management, agency IT stakeholders, and internal infrastructure teams.
This is a delivery-focused position centered on solution configuration and integration oversight rather than custom software development.
- Configure, build, and maintain online service forms within Engagement Builder (low-code platform), including field setup, validation rules, workflow logic, and payment configuration.
- Implement and validate Common Checkout Page (CCP) payment integrations, including token generation, redirect flows, and postback configuration.
- Configure order attributes, line items, success/failure URLs, and related payment parameters to support agency service requirements.
- Troubleshoot API-related issues, including authentication headers, credential validation, environment configuration (UAT vs. Production), and HTTP status errors.
- Serve as the technical liaison between Project Management, agency IT stakeholders, and Tyler Infrastructure & Hosting to resolve integration or connectivity issues.
- Coordinate IP whitelisting, endpoint configuration, and postback setup in partnership with internal infrastructure teams.
- Perform end-to-end testing, UAT validation, and go-live readiness checks to ensure successful deployment of forms and payment integrations.
- Document integration patterns, reusable configurations, and implementation standards to improve repeatability and scalability.
- Monitor production integrations and support issue resolution, escalating complex development items to approved contractors or centralized engineering resources as needed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance agency services through additional Tyler SaaS offerings and support solution expansion discussions.
- 3–5 years of experience in SaaS configuration, technical implementation, platform administration, or systems integration roles.
- Hands-on experience configuring low-code or no-code platforms (e.g., Engagement Builder, Salesforce, Service Now, Power Platform, similar web-based form/workflow systems).
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, including understanding of HTTP methods (GET/POST), headers, authentication keys, and JSON payload structures.
- Experience troubleshooting integration issues, including interpreting HTTP status codes (e.g., 400, 401, 404) and validation errors.
- Experience supporting payment gateway integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently diagnose configuration versus infrastructure issues.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience with payment processing platforms or checkout systems.
- Experience working in a government or public sector technology environment.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and ability to run simple queries for troubleshooting (if applicable).
- Experience serving as a technical liaison between client IT teams and internal engineering or infrastructure teams.
